I say that you can spell the names you choose any way you like. It's especially helpful, if you use a classic name, to have a little fun with the spelling. I feel it makes your child more unique. By the time they have to explain the spelling, it will be natural to them, and believe me, if anyone gets it wrong, they WILL gladly correct them.

I have a boy named Jade Tyler, a girl names Emma Lee Paige, and a girl named Larah (laura) Shayne.

They are all quite fond of their names, AND their spellings.
