Nurse him and we would both fall asleep then when I woke up I would put him back into his own bed.
Hind sight I wish I had of dragged my lazy butt out of bed and nursed him in a chair then put him back into his bed instead of letting him sleep in ours.
I loved the cuddle time but we finally just got him to sleep in his own room by himself and the child just turned 4!!
With our third we didn't co-sleep at all .
Honestly, it's really what works best with you and with your family.
Does it bother you to have her in your room?

Personally I love having her in my room. Of course mine is only 2 1/2 months old too lol. We do co-sleep sometimes but most of the time she sleeps in her bassinet now. I think it was more of an adjustment for me than for her because she's so young. Mostly she only sleeps with me now on the nights when she has tummy ache or something else is wrong that she can't vocalize and having mommy hold her is comforting. There is the occasional night however when I just don't want to let her go too and so she'll sleep with me then.
Right now my plan for when she is bigger, and has her own bed instead of a crib, is to lay down with her in her room (on those nights when she needs her mommy for comfort because she's sick or something) and then move to my room once she's asleep. How that plan may change is up for grabs though since that's a ways off lol.
Basically I just wing it and do what feels right for us on any given night.
