This was one of my big concerns when I was thinking about cloth diapering too (it is a valid concern). I have cloth diapered 2 of my babies (and used disposables on my other 2, the older ones). And I have honestly found that cloth diapers leak less than disposables, and I have never had to deal with a newborn blowout with cloth. Cloth diapers have been great for avoiding leaks! The biggest issue is to make sure that the fit is right and that you have the right amount of absorbency. Check Diaper Style, Top rated cloth diapers....Thirsties, Happy Heinys, DryBees, Wahmies.
