I love being an "older" mama! DD is almost 15 months and exploring everything!

I am 42 and have recently given birth to #6 (he is my last). I have 6 children ranging in age from 22 down to 6 months. I am also a grandma of a 16 months old little girl.

I am 40yrs old, this is my third child (due july 20,2009)....I have a 18yr and 16yr old boys. Never planned on having any more kids, so this was a big surprise for my husband and I. but we are both happy......we use to joke in our middle thirties that we will probably have a mid life baby,lololol....I say he jinxed us. I was nervous at first, because I wasn't prepared on having a baby at this age. Starting all over again. Nice to meet all of you, and hope to hear from you all soon.

Howdy! I'm Nancy! I'm 43 and married to DH Wally for 23 years this April. We've got 3 boys: DS#1 is Adam & he's 21. DS#2 is Wyatt & he's 12 &1/2. Then there is DS#3, Casey & he is 7. Yeah they're spread out abit

Casey was our surprise baby. I told DS#1 that he was going to be a big brother again, this was on April Fools day, and he got mad. Then on Easter that same year I found out that he was going to be a big brother again! LOL He still delights in telling me that I got bit back but good for that April Fools joke

Anyhoo, glad to meet you all! Being Mature Mommies is a good thing

I trully believe that statement, the older you are the better mommy you can be....I have noticed since having my baby in July 2009 I have alot more patience than when i was in my early twenties. I enjoy every moment of his life, things that I didn't notice when my other two were little....I guess when you are in your early twenties you are still young yourself and having kids that young makes it harder on you,you still want to enjoy your life in your twenties. I was so lucky to have my husband's mom.being in your fourties you're more focused on your baby and look at them totally different...I am so glad that I have this baby!!
