The Pregnancy and Baby Message Boards Are Moving! First we want to thank everyone who has been here and helped make the Pregnancy and Baby message boards a success. We know some of you originally came from our other message boards while others were brand new to the boards and started here. We wanted to make the announcement that by the middle of next week we will be closing these boards and merging everything into the SheKnows Pregnancy and Baby boards that we have. I am a huge fan of baby wearing, I have two carriers (Mei Tei and Mobey) and two slings. Just want to see what others there are and how other moms like them!
After 5 kids, I finally found the ring sling, and I love it! In fact, I love it so much that I've decided to make them and sell them at prices that are a bit more affordable than the commercial ones I've seen. I want everyone to have the opportunity to use one.
I use a Baby K'tan carrier, it's a figure 8. It has similar holds to a Moby wrap but is MUCH easier to put on, no wrapping. Baby K'tan Baby Carrier - Sling, Babywearing, Clothing, and more! It has 8 different ways to wear the child and support is on both shoulder and across your back. (I have a bad back and this has been the best one for me.) There is another brand that has the same set-up, I think the name is Baby Nest.
I used a New Native sling. I loved it! When my son was little, he'd always fall asleep in it and I loved that I could be near him, but still have two hands!
