hmm..
My due date is sept 16th, and I am having a little boy. From a young age I have made the conscious decision that I will NEVER circumsize my son. I think it is nothing but mutilation and the risks are far more than I would ever be willing to take. The problem is...NO ONE accepts this, not my family nor my friends. Does anyone have any good advice on how to talk to my family/friends about it? Everytime I tell them it's my choice and I don't want to make a decision like that for my son, I get told I am selfish and my son will have all types of horrid deseases, even though I know this is 100% untrue. If my son becomes of age and says "mom, I would like to be circumsized" I would have no problem helping to make the best decision possible for him, whether it be circ/ no circ. But my sons penis is HIS not mine nor anyone elses, how could I make that decision for him. Ugh I am so frustrated with my family and friends, I don't know what to do.
