This is my first baby and i was just wondering if anyone knows what happens to the umbilical cord after it has been cut? Like how does it get back in there, do they push it or it goes by itself?
The cord is connected to the placenta and comes out AFTER THE BABY. your body makes the placenta out of the fertilized egg. the baby lives off the placenta for food, oxygen everything. If i were you i would go and buy some pregnancy books so you know more about pregnancy and how to care for your self.
