Hi I'm new to the site. I am having my fifth baby and I am due July 14, 2009. Usually by now I can hear the baby heartbeat at the doctors office and feel movement. Everytime I go to the doctor they have to bring in the ultrasound machine to look at the baby and find the heartbeat. I was wondering if anyone else is going through this?
It could be the way the baby is laying or the position of the placenta. If the baby's placenta is up front, it could be "cushioning" the movement. Hopefully you'll feel more soon...as baby gets bigger!
Hi
I'm having my first baby. I don't THINK I've felt the baby move yet. The ultrasound tech told me that my placenta is towards the front, cushioning the baby's movement and it might take me longer to feel movement Congrats on your pregnancy and I wish you much happiness in the future...

I am on my third child and the first time I went in they had to do the ultrasound to get the heat beat and now at my 16 week appointment they finally could hear it with out the ultra sound. I was told that it is just because of the position of the baby.
I'm due on July 3'rd. This is my second child. I've been feeling the baby for a few weeks. I definitely felt movement sooner with this pregnancy. It started as little pops but now I sware she presses her feet or head against the low part of my stomach really hard and it's very uncomfortable. I know she is still very small, I'm not sure how she can create such a strong feeling of pressure.

I'm also due July 3rd with my 5th child. yes I can definately feel my little boy moving. He seems to have those hyper urges & I feel pressure & movement in the lower part of my stomach, but I'm carrying him lower than it seems w/ my other 4.
