Already?!
Is anyone experiencing things that has them thinking... "already?!"?
Several weeks ago (somewhere around the 5/6 week mark), I had my first pregnancy meltdown. We were at my boyfriend's sister's place when we got on to some controversial baby topics. I usually enjoy being challenged but this time, it was too much. I JUST managed to keep it together while we were there but we weren't even out of the driveway when I lost it completely. I ended up crying the entire way home (a little over an hour's drive), while I was brushing my teeth, and then pretty much until I fell asleep. Fun.
My amazing boyfriend did what he could, but nothing helped. When we talked about it, he wondered if I was farther along than I thought.
Now, I am only just 9 weeks and already showing BIG TIME! My work uniform barely fits now, and people are noticing. We are trying to keep it quiet for the most part and have only told a few people, but if this continues, I don't think that's in the cards much longer.
Again... already?!
We go for our first ultrasound this weekend, so I suppose we'll find out more accurately at that point.

Meredith
have you thought about getting a second opinion about having to wait so long for an U/S? Most women I know (and including myself) go in for their first one around 12-14 weeks. 17 weeks seems pretty long.

Re: Already?!
Yes, I have definitley thought about it, I am seeing a midwife for my next appointment on April 20, so I may ask her what she thinks, I would really love to have one sooner, although, my freind her sees the same doc said thats what they did for her as well, she had to wait also, but we will see, I am really anxious to see the little peanut.

Re: Already?!
Oh I completely feel for you. I cry so often now.. when just 2 weeks ago I hardly ever sniffled. Now I'm an emotional roller coaster (I'm at 8 weeks). I don't think I'm showing yet, though it's hard to say since I already have quite a bit of stubborn belly fat. However, my breasts have grown a full cup size and I've already had to purchase a maternity bra (the only type that will fit me, sadly).

Re: Already?!
I am 8wks5days and I'm definitely already showing.. It's just a belly pooch but I can definitely tell. I already had large breasts but they still grew a full cup size . I wasn't expecting to be showing this early. I really hope that I'm not showing much more by the wedding in May or I'll have to get a new dress lol. I cry for no reason sometimes, music drives me insane!, and I swear nothing has taste!~!! especially drinks. I can't find anything to drink that I would like. Gatorade, cranberry/apple juice, water, well basically anything.

Re: Already?!
I'm only 7 weeks 4 days (due nov 26), and I'm about ready for new bras... I would have needed them sooner as I've put on 2 inches on my breasts already, but luckily I had lost weight just before I got pregnant and all my bras were a little big, so now I've grown into them and past them a bit.
My waist is definitely thick and depending on the amount of bloating for the day I most definitely look pregnant, especially since I had lost all that weight before... I am getting so frustrated with my tops (tried on 30+ the other day at the store), and wondering how much longer I can wait before the moms of my piano students start commenting. I was hoping to wait another month before talking to them about it.
