New to the Board - Due Mid-November!

I too am pregnant with my first and due Nov 16th. I'm 34 will have t go to a high risk specialist because I will be 35 by my EDD. I'm also looking for a due date buddy.

After my first OB apt, and the MD decided I wasn't as far along as my period had led to believe, he sqweezed me into an u/s which put my due date Nov 19, instead of Nov 6, putting me at 9 wks 3 days preggo.. but I'm super excited because I could see the little heartbeat pacing away at 176bpm and the little gummy bear squirming around!!
So, we are around the same due date so we can be buddies! I dont go back for another appt for another 3 weeks, and I know they wont do another u/s for another 8-9 weeks or so (17-18 weeks). Its hard waiting that long!
I did have light spotting after having sex but it was only after I peed after intercourse. Everything Ive read points to thats ok as long as its not heavy or cramping, which neither is happening... so hopefully everything is ok?? Anything makes me nervous cuz Im really attached to having this baby.. as Im sure we all are...

ER_RN :: I had the same thing happen but mine wasn't just a one time thing and they told me I had a small subchorionic (sp?) bleed and I am still not able to have sex :/ they told me to wait until 14 wks to be safe.. that was at 6 wks. I'm on light duty basically not allowed to do anything... Lucky yours went away lol Mine has completely gone away now as well but they say "better safe than sorry" and I tend to agree.

I had a different midwife today than usual whom I thought I liked better than my own. Until, that is, she told me that I have to wait an extra week for this baby because I'm not as far along as we thought.

I'm mad at her right now! LOL

I was a little upset that I was gonna have to wait for another 2 weeks to see my baby, but then I got to thinking about it.... since this was a surpirse baby, the extra two weeks gave the baby an extra two weeks taking prenatal vitamins and extra time that I get to become attached. Hello Ladies,

My edd is November 19th as well! So feel free to drop me a line anytime! As I am currently slated as high risk I will be having a US every 3 weeks after my 20 week mark. Fingers crossed that baby doesn't come before 35 weeks...; ). Hope everyone is doing well...and hope your "morning sickness" is starting to subside!
