Default December 7th is World TTTS Awareness Day

If you are pregnant with twins, please learn in you have one placenta or two. If you have 1 placenta, you are at risk for twin to twin transfusion syndrome or TTTS. This is a disease of the placenta during your pregnancy.

December 7th is World TTTS Awareness Day. Please go to World TTTS Awareness Day - The Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation to get more information that could save your babies lives. With treatment, TTTS in its worst form can still be reversed. But, you have to have doctors who are looking for the symptoms. You need weekly ultrasounds from 16 weeks through birth with a high risk perinatologist.

Congratulations on your babies. Please get educated!
