There was two, now there's one...

So it seems I still have a baby growing inside of me. Had an ultrasound today and it showed a baby with a heartbeat and the doc seems to think I have miscarried a twin. So it looks like I am still going to be a mum of 4! To be honest, I am glad it is only 1 baby now, don't know how I would have managed with 2!!

So that's a pretty good christmas pressie for me! I think!

I'm so glad to hear the good news!! I'm sorry for the loss of the twin, but so glad that you will still be adding one more to your family. What wonderful news to get at Christmas!

Oh Sharyn, what an ordeal to go through. So sorry for the loss, but I am so glad you have seen this baby's heartbeat, that's a good sign that all will be well

The same thing happened to my SIL. She was even scheduled for her D&C and they did one more u/s just to make sure....and there was that hearbeat beating away - her baby boy is now a happy 18 month old! I also had an experience like that - one ectopic and I also m/c along with the e/p so I either had a "pseudo-sac" that can happen with e/p or one in the right place and one in my tube.

I hope you have no more scares and you are able to enjoy a nice and easy pregnancy. How far along are you?

My goodness! I'm so happy there's still a little bean in there for you! My beta's were so low with Yasmine the doctor told me he thought it was a chemical pregnancy...I was so horrified when I first found out I was preggo, but then I got use to the idea and to be told it may not happen was devastating!
I wish you a stress free pregnancy from here on out! Thinking of you dear!
