Default Re: How old was your ds/dd?

DD #1 was 16 months old, backtracked at 18 months for a couple of weeks and fully potty trained by 19 months. DD#2 a little longer 19 months, but once she got it she got it...Now DD#3, she has really shown no interest in the potty chair until this week..she is now 23 months old 2 on the 21st, so I am just hoping to have her potty trained before #4 comes along.

It is possible for sure, but it is truly up to your kiddo and also everyone around him/her helping to encourage potty training. My oldest two just so wanted to be big girls and get out of them diapers, but #3 is just content with the way things are lol.

I had all these grand ideas about my son being potty trained at 18 months. He'll be 2 next month, and we're still working on it. The hardest part is when we are out in public. I always resort to a diaper, because he's scared of the adult potties. Any ideas/suggestions?

I am scared of the adult potties too............so germy and gross....lol. Seriously though, we went through the trying phase for a few months with my son right before he was 2. I finally backed off and gave up for a while. A couple months after he turned 2 he pretty much did it on his own. I think sometimes they just need to make it their idea instead of yours.

Good Luck

I agree with Elly, we should sometimes wait until they wanted it for themselves. But for my little boy, at about 18 months he shouldnt be wearing any diapers no more.. Haha! Its getting expensive
