I'm having my first baby and she is due on April 8. I conceived when I was 29 and turned 30 shortly after. Prior to getting pregnant I had started working out with a trainer, because I was so worried about turning 30 and not being able to lose weight as easily. Obviously getting pregnant caused a little detour in that plan.

When I found out I was pregnant.....of course I was VERY excited, but at the same time I made a commitment to myself that I would not allow myself to gain a ton of weight. I wanted to make sure the baby is healthy, but I didn't want to overdo it. As I started researching books to buy I came across these awesome eBooks that have taught me so much about eating healthy during pregnancy and what types of exercises are still safe during each stage of pregnancy. I have LOVED it and it's helped me keep my weight gain to a minimum and my doctor is so excited. The same author also has some eBooks that will help take the weight off after pregnancy as well. I plan on buying those as soon as the baby arrives. If you're interested, you should check them out and see if any of them fit your needs.

I'll have to check those books out. I also read a ton when I was pregnant, and continue reading as my son gets older. There's so much information, and I feel it's important to get a wide variety of information. My favorite book by far was Secrets of the Baby Whisperer by Tracey Hogg. She also wrote another one for toddlers that I am enjoying.

Books look great, the book I loved while pregnant was "Up the Duff" by Kaz Cooke she also wrote another called "Kid-Wrangling" which I have found great for any of those not sure moments and believe me as a 1st time mum there are a few.
