I am a 28 year old mother of 3 boys and we are expecting our 4th boy, Aiden Matthew in March. I just recently went for my 20 week ultrasound and the baby is measuring the way he should and everything looks great other than the fact the u/s tech couldn't find the kidneys. She saw the bladder which was full and the amniotic fluid was good but she said they would probably want to rescan in 2-4 weeks. I am so worried that the baby may possibly not have kidneys or only have one, which would be better than none but it just doesn't make sense because there was urine in the bladder.....So, where did it come from? Has anyone else had an experience like this? I am not sure if it is because I am overweight and things are harder to see or what but I am such a worry wart and can't stop worrying. My other 3 boys are healthy and I am just praying that Aiden will be too. If any of you have had a similar experience or know of someone that has please let me know. I need some peace of mind.
