Thumb Up Something to try for Nausea!!!

Hello Ladies,

I thought I should share this with you all. I was speaking with a friend of mine who lives in England. She was telling me that "Sea Bands..Motion Sickness Wrist Bands" are a huge hit over there! Turns out that's where they are made. So I sent my DH out to Walmart to buy me a pair. In Canada they cost us $15.00 which is a small price to pay to help alleviate soem of these nausea symptoms! If you have ever studies accupressure or accupuncture you would remember that there is a "pressure point" on the inside of your wrists called "The Nei-Kuan point". Well, the bands are skinny red bands that closly resemble "sweat bands". They have a small white plastic stud imbedded in each one and you wear one on each wrist.

Good Luck and I hope this helps!

When I was pregnant with my first I had Hypermesis Gravidarum. I was constantly sick. I ended up hospitalized quite a few times in the first trimester. Even with my second. Anyway, I was told about those wrist bands but in my case NOTHING worked. I didn't have normal morning sickness. I think the best thing is Zofran. My doc prescribed it when I was pregnant with my second child and it worked wonders. NEVER got sick ever again once it was in my system. It's a small white pill and it WORKS!! It isn't only just for pregnancy. They give it to those who are travelling and get motion sickness. It's a really strong pill with no side effects really. I think that's probably the best thing. To me anyway...lol.
